Jax Memory Foam 8-inch

A high quality top layer of memory foam gently contours to your body's curves for exceptional pressure point relief while a gel swirl treatment provides a temperature neutral environment. 2" of Gel Swirl Foam on top of 6" of high-density base foam.

The Jax 8" also has a medium firmness but since it has two more full inches of foam than the Jax 6, it's better suited for older kids/teenagers or even adults. Once again, it's quite comfortable and if you're looking for a memory foam mattress around $500 then this is the perfect one. That said, the Jax 10" is more designed for heavier adults and/or couples.

If you're looking for a mattress with a medium firmness around the same price that will feel more traditional and be easier for your body to adjust to, then you'll want to go with the Jocelyn Medium Hybrid.
